Roll-on, Roll-off (Ro-Ro)
Our Ro-Ro division offers worldwide shipping for your goods. This includes the transport of cars, trucks, buses, boats and motorcycles. We offer the possibility to deliver door-to-door and there is the option for transport in Cradles or Shrink Wrapping.
We are particularly specialized in (but not limited to) shipments from the US and Japan, and mainly use the following ports:

Container Division
Our Container division offers the same service as the RoRo division, but in a container. The advantage of this is that you can also transport individual items together with your vehicle.

Procedure & Storage
A week before the arrival of your goods, you will receive an Arrival Notice with the expected arrival date of the goods at the port of destination. As soon as your shipment has actually arrived, you will receive Collection Note which is required for the collection of the goods.
To prevent storage costs you get 10 working days free storage from the day of release. This gives you the time to pick up the shipment, or if desired we can also arrange further transportation for you.

Customs Clearing
We take care of customs clearance for you. Below you will find an indication of the import duties on passenger cars, trucks and motorbikes. If you want information about import duties on other products, we can also inform you about this.
Passenger cars younger than 30 years:
10% Import duties (on the purchase amount + transport costs)
21% VAT (on the purchase amount + transport costs + import duties)
Trucks younger than 30 years:
22% Import duties (over the purchase amount + transport costs)
21% VAT (on the purchase amount + transport costs + import duties)
Passenger cars, trucks and motorcycles older than 30 years:
6% VAT (on the purchase amount + transport costs)
Dutch License
You can also opt for a complete package; where the door-to-door transport is fully arranged for you, including license plate and complete inspection of your vehicle. This service and all technical and registration services is provided by TMC Automotive Solutions.
